Are 8x18 et49 wheels suitable for both axels in F20?
Clearance wise - OK for rear but likely inside rim will clash with front strut - may need 10mm spacer.

Depending on wheel - you may need spacers anyway to clear the brake calipers

Wheels I am about to get are these on size 8x18" ET49. Wondering if they are good to go or not...

As Blind Pugh has already said, you will need 10mm spacers to clear the shock absorbers.

Thanks Sooty, it is those wheels but that is not my car. There is a pic of my silver M135i on here somewhere but not sure where.
Just for you :)

I'm about to buy a 135 but i feel the stock 18's and any 18's look too small on the car. I want to put some 19's on but i'll be honest, i'm pretty clueless when it comes to fitments etc - can anyone help on what i should be looking for and whether putting 19's on will cause any issues? I don't really want to tamper with much if it's not necessary

I'm looking for some wheels like these but struggling to find any online - if anyone can help with that as well it would be amazing!

Aren't they just BMW 624m wheels? :?

Yep, wheels in first 2 pics are 624m in black, these are the bi-colour version

The last 2 pics are just Y spokes, many different types of those, I have these 18s on mine

I'm thinking of getting these - will these be ok without rubbing etc?

8.5x19 (Front) & 9.5x19 (Rear)

No, those Riva's won't fit nicely, expect rear arch contact.

Why not just go for the 624m's? They're a bog standard fit on a 1 series, and highly sought-after/resellable.
2k is just a bit too steep, I actually posted the link to the wrong ones,it was these ones. If i went for ones without the wider rear would that make any difference?

If it comes to it I will probably have to just let my bank balance take a hit and get the 624m's

Unfortunately not mate.
Offsets are too much

19 inch CH-Rs? Probably not much difference in cost to the 624 once tyres are added

Would anyone know if BMW f30 rims model 393 which are 17x7.5 et37 would fit the 116d 2016 build well?
Sound ok to me. :)
Yes 116 = small brakes so no clearance issues to wheel spokes or barrel and 7.5 et 37mm means widen the tracks ~ 16mm in total so adds clearance to strut and won't foul on the bodywork.

I'm running F30 rims 8" wide et 34mm - no issues.

These look fantastic !, how do they drive, are they much heavier than the stock BMW 18s ?, I am worried about destroying the handling and acceleration if they are heavier. (had a bad experience with a aftermarket set of alloys on a golf which killed the acceleration to a surprising amount)

Thanks

That car is not mine so can't comment how they feel but from memory, I think the VMR wheels are similar weight to OEM 18's (which aren't lightweight anyhow)
