So... the thinking continues.

Z4 E85 108 style (18 split rim)... has it been done before?

Research on various wheels tells me that 313s have brake caliper clearance issues. The 108 spoke don't look to be too far from the hubs.

Also, F30 wheels 18 and up... all seem to be a straight fit (yes I know they are a touch on the pokey side).

I've not seen Style 108 on an M-Lite, definitely trial fit both a front and a rear before buying.

Most F30 wheels are fine with standard wishbones, they only get a bit marginal when you fit the longer M4 versions.

Really loving JR wheels SL01. I want to stick to 18" and I guess 8.5 should be fine all around? Totally confused about ET though, any advice? Xdrive F20 LCI M135i

I was thinking 225/40/18 all around? ET40 is roughly stock fitment look? I was leaning more towards ET42 but not sure

8.5" ET42 would be very close to the front struts, they might just fit though??

For 225's I'd be going ET38-40 personally.

On the front of my M135i I run an 18x8" wheel ET42 with MPSS 245/35 tyres and -1.3 deg of camber. There is about 10mm clearance between the front damper (Bilstein B and the side wall of the tyre. I haven't experienced any rubbing.

He's after 8.5" isn't he, that gobbles up 1/4" of your clearance? I'm not sure it's necessary to cut it quite so close if he only wants to run 225's.

I'm still looking for the right summer set of alloys. I am looking at the Rotiform RSEs they come in 8.5j 35 et. Would this work and what tyre options would I have?

I guess the search goes on. There seems to be a gap in the market for a flow forged bbs/CSL style multispoke alloy at a good price point.

Been looking at some previous posts and kind of had a 2nd thought about tyre size. Would 235 or 245/35 be a bit safer in terms of rim protection?

SL01 8.5 rim is available with ET35 38 and 40. What do you think would be best Marco?

Found 1 guy with F20 on SL01. Running on ET35 18x 8,5 and 225/40/18 all around, here's his pic:

As you can see, ET35 pokes right out of the sides like a Chav roller skate.

If you want some rim protection, 245/35/18 at ET40 is probably your best bet.

Hi! So this os going to be 5272527181 post about wheels but what do you guys think about these 359m specs for a f20 116d sport:
- front. 18 x 8 et 35
- rear 18 x 9 et 38.

What tyres should i use too?

They're a pokey choice, you might get away with 245/35 on the back.
