Hello, i fitted the M3 lower control arms last thursday & had it all aligned up on friday have been testing it over the weekend & it felt great but i had to take it back as the idiots had left the steering wheel off center, apparently they had to heat up the ajustment bolts as they had siezed up & the twat tighend them up before letting them cool down, anyway after they had re-aligning the wheels up i had a look at what the cambers were sitting at

Fronts -0.51
Rears -1.52

He said this was the max he could set it to, does this sound right? as i thought the LCAs added
-0.75?

How much neg did you have before you started? Some cars have a little positive out of the box.

They didn't touch the strut tops did they? Are they still inboard as far as they will go?

How much weight did the alignment centre put in the car during set-up?

Also, are we talking decimals or degrees and minutes? :?
Not sure how much neg it was set at before & i did the camber pin mod a while back & moved inward as far as it would go, they only tweeked underneath & no weights as it was just wheel centre (not the best place to go but didnt have any where else near to go to.

& not sure about the readings as i just had gander & thats what it was reading.

The Hunter measurements most people quote (understandably - right off their print-outs) are after the operator has loaded the car to a preset ride height. This is usually done with a dozen or more canisters filled with sand and/or water. This obviously makes the car squat more, increasing the neg figures on the sheet.

Whether it's 0.51 degrees, or 0 degrees 51 arcminutes also makes a huge difference (as 60 arcminutes = 1 degree). :)
