Quick q on this

Is it true there are different models of 17" X1 steel wheels? I'm sure I read this somewhere :?
Or is it the case that if I (for example) see someone selling X1 steel 17's, they WILL fit my M135?
Reason I ask is I see a couple of people selling sets nearby but I'm sure Ive read somewhere not all 17" steels will fit the M135 brakes etc...I might be making this up though...

Bit tall, I've 225/45/17 and that seems fine.
The seller just came back to me saying they didn't fit his 120 M Sport, so he doesnt think I should try? Why would they not fit his? :?
Could be an E series 120?

You're not winning any beauty contests, but if some clown runs you off the road and you make a 50p of the wheel on a kerb (it's happened to me) - then you're not hundreds of ÂŁ down on a new alloy.

Which model do you have to pretend to be on the 'select model' drop down or are they all the same fitment? (the price stays the same I see)

Also what do you do about the tyre pressure sensors? go without or will they will these wheels?

I quite like the look of steels, it has a kind of blues brothers feel :lol2:
It's fairly obvious to anyone looking at them that they are temporary winter setup, rather than thinking why has he got those alloys on that car? Or something like that

Personally I don't think Ill have an issue driving about with them when I put mine on in December
Well...an issue looks wise, it remains to be seen how it drives..

Drives fine - but depends on the tyres.

In my experience, the Michelin Alpin 5s are too squidgy. The best I have used otherwise (the only others) were Continental 850s - these were much better.
