As many of us know having a clean car is of the up most importance inside and out.

Was having a chat with my boss about the usual Snow foam and various cleaning products. He recommended Williams Waterless Wash and Wax never heard of it before. he uses it all the time and said the car comes up amazingly.

He also recommended Greased Lightning which has the same effect.

Has anyone used this stuff before?

not sure if allowed to post this link but has a good deal on at the moment for Williams wash and wax.

The problem with waterless stuff, is there isnt the volume of liquid to carry the debris away. I suspect this will result in grit being trapped in whatever material you use to wipe this off with, so you'll scratch the paint. It may be a convenient way to get a "quick clean" but I doubt many on here would have used it or recommend it for the longer term effects (swirling, dull paint, ultimately the potential to scratch through and introduce rust etc). If hosing is not an option, then buckets and even hand held pressure washers are probably going to give a much better result, and then finish with good quality products. Its a balance between how much effort you're prepared to put in and the result you want to achieve. Plenty of advice on good products in the detailing section.

You dont have to be into full-on detailing to appreciate some of the techniques and products you can learn about from this forum.

I talked to the detailer I got to sort out a few paint imperfections. He discourages its use but said if I am willing to let my car dealer clean the car I'll be doing less damage as long as I'm absolutely anal about using the microfibre cloths & clean the car very frequently, considering how little time it takes this shouldn't be a problem. For the cleaning you want to fold your cloths into quarters & wipe in a straight line once per 'face'. That means 8 wipes per cloth & so you'll be using 40-50 cloths per car!
