You could get them professionally wrapped for under 100 quid easy.

 

Option 6 - Wait for a set of black covers to come up on eBay? All mirror caps from F30 and F20 models will fit, I scored a pair of black covers on eBay for well under £100.

Pair of blue ones on eBay at the moment if you wanted to go body coloured....

We'll wrap them Gloss Black for £55. Otherwise, I'd buy a set off eBay and sell them on once you've had enough.

The M ones look lovely in real life, pics don't do them justice. I've actually got 1 set of Gloss Black ones sitting around - yours for £95.

I was given a set of used ones, they're nice enough in terms of fit, but the lacquer is coming away leaving milky patches.

I wouldn't spend my own money on a set.

 

I had my mirrors sprayed gloss black by dealership on my
235 prior collection on the estoril blue.

Just ordered a pair of carbon fibre M mirrors so I can't wait to get them on, they look gorgeous. Aggressive look too, one up over the M2 also. Anyways - I would sell my black ones but keeping for car re sell.

 

Get them wrapped, looks fantastic (depending who does it.) Peels off when you come to sell the car and under a hundred quid.

The Ferric Grey painted part of the mirror is called the cover (or cap) - it has no impact on the function of the mirror. It's held on by 3 little clips behind the glass. The glass just pops off with some gentle pressure from a flat-bladed tool (trim removal tool, covered screwdriver, etc) then you can release the clips to remove the cover. Push the new/wrapped/painted cover on and Bob's your uncle. Should take no more than 3 minutes per side to change.

I bought gloss black ones from an eBay seller called 1963caymen for £60 painted. Genuine BMW covers painted with genuine BMW colour. Can't rate them highly enough

They're an OEM fit. Will still auto fold and have completely normal functionality.

 

I've had two sets of mirror caps painted gloss black for £40/set. Only downside is the 24-48 hours of driving without any on the car.

Alternatively you buy some more - bought two sets separately (one set on eBay and the other set on here for £55/set).
