The swirl flaps give you a tiny bit more bottom end torque, but they don't effect the power significantly. A remap won't help.

I'd be looking at your EGR (sticking/seizing open), or possibly looking at the turbo/boost leaks.

 

Cheers for that. If there was an issue with my EGR Valve, wouldn't it throw up an Engine Warning Light? There isn't anything on my dash, just those error codes from the computer.

 

With the latest dde software the swirflaps motor measures the amount of play/movement

If it has too much it will hold back the power and the engine will loose most of its power

Yes we have done many with the latest bmw software updates before it's just a case of figuring out how to turn it off in the software byte by bite

Yes we can delete the swirflaps from the ecu software

Just to comment for anyone who has this problem with an F20. Jason at BWChiptune has just done the swirl flap removal on my F20 116D.

I’ve only had the car a week and it’s been really down on power. Since Jason did the removal it’s like a different car, much more power, runs Cleanly and pulls so much better.
