Yes that's them, I don't have them on mines

 

Have you tried turning them on using the idrive menu?

 

I didn't know you could, I was messing about with settings over the weekend but must have missed them.

 

Yes, they're on the idrive. it's the sub menu for the revering cam. As I recall you can also choose to have just guides lines or also the turning circle indicator.

Press the parking button and then click left into the options listed on the left IIRC.

 

I don't see a parking button and I couldn't for the life of me find it on the menus but when I put the car in reverse the menu then popped up and I could add the lines.

I assumed it would be like mine, I guess it comes up when you select reverse though.

I think you only get the button if you have front parking sensors specced?

Ah yes, very possible as I have park assist.

 

You can't spec front sensors on an M2

 

The menu comes up when you reverse. You can select contrast, guidelines and PDC guides.

 

Yeah I eventually figured that out mate, all sorted now
