Replacing N47 oil filter housing gasket

Spotted an oil leak this week on my 123d. Looks like it's from the filter housing. Anyone have any guides on doing this or what needs removing? I have been searching but not found a lot. Probably not searching hard enough. Found plenty for other engines just not the N47. Thanks

Hi mate im in the same situation.
Theres a video here on the 318d which is basically the same engine.

Cheers man. Need to do my glow plugs as well If I can get them out so manifold the lot will be off

Have you done this yet? I did mine at the weekend. Wasn't to bad, bolts at the bottom are a bigger to get to mind just use some long extension bars! Also make sure you replace the o rings between cooler and oil filter as mine were so brittle was like plastic.
