Rear seat Through loading system

On the M140i do you have to spec the through loading system to get a folding rear seat back? I am assuming the standard seats still fold but just on the 60:40 without an armrest / ski hatch hole. Test drove an M135i yesterday and was very impressed. Obviously an M140i is more of the same but with added horses and torques. Grateful for any confirmation.

Cheers Pete. I have ordered an M140i 5 door in Mineral Grey with Coral Red. Auto box, Comfort pack, heated seats and privacy glass. This will replace my wife's 120d M Sport X drive. The deal on these cars made them too good and actually cheaper than I have a 335d (and am on F30Post for anyone who is on there too) so we have that for longer trips and I will have this to play with at weekends. Thanks for clarifying the rear seat issue as a hatch without a folding seat is a bit of a chocolate teapot. January delivery to coincide with the end of her PCP. Also we live in NI so the registrations tend to be new year rather than the Spring and Autumn like in GB.
When we went for the test drive the dealer had an M135i which had been their demo car. Feb 16 reg so an lci but with the N55 engine. They had also fitted the MPE. As soon as I pushed the button, I was sold on it as it sounded amazing. I love my 335d but do miss the noise of a nice petrol engine

Sounds a lovely spec, although having listened to the standard system, if you like your music I would strongly recommend you go for some form of upgrade. Adaptive suspension as worthwhile too, Ive heard the passive ride is pretty hard on the M140i.

Both our current cars have Harmon Kardon as part of M sport packs. I just think ÂŁ600 for a few speakers is outrageous. Wanted to try and keep the month lies sensible because it's a second car. I will have to just let the window down and listen the the 6 pot orchestra!
