No - not a direct swap at all.
This has been covered before though, just try searching for it and you'll find it. I seem to remember someone actually did the conversion too.

I can't remember. I've obvious when you see the wiring though. The colours are different on both sides.

Brilliant write up - never thought i could be bothered to change the rear lights but now i'm thinking about it!
