Not sure that the auto level function on my xenons is working properly. On my previous cars E46 M3 and E46 330ci the level check at startup was very noticeable whereas the 130 just seem to move a very small amount. Can someone with xenons confirm if the autolevel is very noticeable please?
The E46 has a level arm on the front wishbone and a broken clip was a common problem. Where is the one on a 130 and is it prone to failure like the E46?

Checked the level arm on the N/S wishbone when I was painting the calipers today and it's still there. Doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it. It's connected to a control box, part no. 1 on this diagram

" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Does anyone know if this controls the auto level function?

The movement of the lights at startup is very noticeable on my car too. I guess there's a rear level sensor as well. You should check that also.

There's a bracket on top of the biggest rear suspension arm. You can see it if you bend down behind the car. On my car (LHD) it's on the left side (same side as the front sensor).

I would do a diagnosis scan before I started replacing parts.

Got a diagnosis done tonight and here's the fault code

FRM-9CB6 FRM
Headlight vertical aim control coil break
Swivel Module B6300_87027

Did the headlight test and the level function works when controlled by the DIS so the lights can auto level.
Looks like the sensor is gone?
