Got a 57plate E87 120i........
I've noticed that after start-up either first thing in the morning or when I leave work that under acceleration the car puffs out quite a bit of white smoke.
This only happens for approx half a mile etc. After that fine, no smoke at all!
Seems to be when starting the car from cold..............warm ok no smoke.
Been told that this is probably condensation in the exhaust..........has anyone else experienced this??
or could this be an oil leak? Been reading about PCV valves but not sure what to make of my problem?
any advise would be appreciated
