Hello,

Apoligies if this has been asked before, i've had a good look and just can't seem to find what i'm looking for and there is alot of conflicting information. I am getting a 120d M Sport, not the new shape but one of the last old shape models. Could someone please tell me what the extras in the comfort pack are please? Its also got the full leather heated front seat option, are they electrically adjusted? I haven't seen the car yet but tested out a lower spec M Sport model.

Thanks

Comfort pack consists of the following -

Front Armrest
Cruise Control
Extended Storage
Front PDC (Park Distance Control)
Rain Sensors with Auto Headlights

I had all but the cruise control specced on my order separately and realised I could add the cruise control for about ÂŁ90.

Electric adjustable seats were an expensive option, ÂŁ910 IIRC!

Thats really helpful thank you, didn't realise it had the front parking sensors to, that'll help the other half when she's parking :)

Wow the seats are an expensive option, i doubt it will have those, they may have missed it when they priced the car up for sale with some luck..

Comfort pack is

Armrest
Rear PDC
Auto wipers
Auto lights
Extended storage
Auto dimming rear view mirror.

YOU DO NOT GET FRONT PDC OR CRUISE CONTROL.
Thanks for the reply.

Everyone seems to have a different level of comfort pack. I thought the rear PDC was standard on the M Sport? I'm new to BMW so could be wrong. I think it this one has Cruise control, have only seen pictures of it but it has the stalk where the cruise control normally is, so hoping it has.

The thing with the Comfort Pack is that it changes between trim level and age, so what you get will vary because some items are standard on the higer spec cars (rear PDC for instance). There was a point when Cruise became part of the comfort pack but this was not initially the case.

With extended storage you get the lidded compartment on top of the dash and 2 cup holders in the centre console, if your car does not have iDrive / SatNav.

Not sure what you get in the storage pack if your car has SatNav.

And also nets on the backs of the front seats, 4 lashing eyes in the boot, in both cases.

There may be some confusion here. The one i'm getting isn't the new F20 shape its the last model on a 61 plate. From the pictures it looks like it has the front PDC and the cruise but i suppose i will have to wait untill i get it, all the dealer knows at the minute is that it has the comfort package, they can't say untill it arrives what is incuded in that. Whats the waiting times on the new models like?

Brilliant, i hope mine has the same comfort package as you then, it was only registered in November so fingers crossed. Would have liked a Coupe but just needed that extra bit of room the 5 door hatch offers :)

What's the netting in a bag under the boot floor for?
Putting either the OH or the kids in when they drive you nuts. :lol2:

(Doesn't apply to me as I have my car to myself)

I specced my E87 last Jan/Feb, so it is an '11 plate. It is an msport.

Comfort pack did include the front PDC (rear is standard), auto wipers etc, cruise control and bits.

My wifes car is an 09 MSport with comfort pack - this has the same, but no cruise.

So they do vary the contents on the "pack", and they may have added/removed items from it near the end.

Thanks Kevin. Found out it does have the front PDC and cruise, pleased with that :)

I don't know if I have the Dynamic Pack and/or Comfort Pack and Extended Light pack. This is my check list:

120d SE '57 Facelift Edition

Manual Front Sports seats
"Network" cloth uphostery
(dunno about M Sports suspension - not sure how to tell if it does or doesn't have this)
17" Star Spoked Alloy Wheels - Style 256
Cruise Control
Puddle lights in handles
Armrest
Front & Rear PDC
Auto wipers
Auto lights
Extended storage
Auto dimming rear view mirror.

Thanks for that. It was the inclusion in the Dynamic Pack of the Network fabric upholstery and the 17" 256 5-ray star-spoke wheels that had suggested I might have the Dynamic pack as well, but that includes the M-Sport suspension. Is there any visual clues as to what suspension I have fitted? I've only ever driven this 1er so have nothing to compare it to in ride quality.

Im not sure, but when i got my car I got the dealer to print off from the chasis number a list of everything my car came with. It showed every option & code etc. I wonder if they can do something similar with yours?

You can do this yourself using the last 7 digits of your vin number, there are several links to sites where you can do it, I got a full comprehensive spec sheet for mine, there's stuff on it that I didn't know it had, the dealer didn't know either, I'll try and find a link :)

Edit - try this link " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Brilliant. I just checked it out. It specifies only the storage compartment and lighting package, but then describes the load-out for both Comfort and Dynamic. It seems I do indeed have the M-Sport suspension.

Am I right in assuming "120D OL" is European for "120D SE". The VIN sticker says it's just a 120D, but am sure on the V5 it's an SE. When I get home tomorrow will double check the V5. It was certainly sold as an SE, and with the load-out I fail to see how it differs.

It also declares a lowly 130bhp!! Not likely!
