Estoril with Oyster Leather

Post by chester » Sun Mar 13, 2016 12:02 pm

Does anyone have this combination who would be kind enough to post some pics please.

I'm looking to swap out my 2014 which is currently Glacier with Coral but agonising over colour. I've had silver BMWs for years so looking to break tradition. I'm not keen on black leather and the Coral with Estoril might be a tad too much. Need to make the right decision as I will probably be keeping the next M135i indefinitely once BMW go front wheel drive.

Many thanks.

I've just ordered this exact combination from TRL. I'd decided on EB but debated Oyster vs Black. I definitely think EB/Oyster is by far the better looking combo but was concerned about maintenance however after reading around most posts suggest it's fairly easy to keep clean if you look after it. After seeing photos online and finally seeing the same colour combination on another car in the showroom my mind (or was it my wife's :o ) was made up.

Take a look on the photos thread or try google images, there's lots of pics online, just ignore the older interior shots which have the light carpets/dash trim. Also I would imagine most dealers have a vehicle in this combination somewhere in the showroom even if it isn't a 1 series so worth checking out in person.

Now do I go with the hex trim with blue strip or aluminium with gloss black? mmm, decisions, decisions....

Estoril with Oyster Leather

Good colour combination. Our EB is 18 months old and the oyster still looks as good as new! The light interior is a brilliant environment to be in - especially on long trips. Don't discount the pipe and slippers fineline (?) trim - we went for that and haven't regretted it for one minute :-)
Loving my M135i (EB, Oyster, Auto, Adaptive etc etc (which I may let falmouthboy drive if I fancy a drink one evening...))

Thanks for the replies and links guys, looks a good combination and would probably go for for the Fineline wood over the hex alu I currently have, still love the silver and coral though hmmmmm.

Hi, I had estoril & black on my 1st one, now have estoril & oyster, much nicer combo for me. The black was too black!

So how come you are switching? Fancy a change in spec or been offered a good deal?
Now - 2018 M2 Competition, LBB, DCT.
Then - Audi S4 Black Edition, M235i, M135i, 120d M Sport Coupe, Subaru Impreza, Toyota Celica T Sport 190, VW Golf GTi Mk4, Saxo VTR

Tend to change at 2 years into a 4 year PCP, just fancy the LCI with a few more additions, really depends on the value of the car, hopefully no negative on it. I traded the Z4 in at 2 years for the M135i and paid the outstanding finance off nicely.
