This is my second winter with my BMW, my first with winter tyres which have been on since mid December. My set up is as follows:-
141 style OEM wheels with Bridgestone Blizzak 205/50 17 5.5mm on the front and brand new Falken 225/45 17 on the rear.
The car doesn't seem to feel 'right', the front feels little loose at 70 or whispering, 80mph - am I expecting too much from the winter set up, am I driving too fast or have I got my choices completely wrong?.The Bridgestones were on the wheels when I bought them. I haven't had the wheels aligned for the 17'' wheels.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, please be kind!

what tyre pressures you running? Can have a big impact.

The softer winter compound will always feel a bit different, what setup were you running as summers?

Could be an unbalanced wheel?

Thanks for replies

Summer set up is:-
OEM 261 18'' front 215/40, rear 245/35 35psi all round

Winter pressures are 34psi all round. the rears were balanced, the fronts weren't balanced but according to the seller he was running them on a 135i
