Hi all, so I've decided that on the run up to some warmer weather I'm going to get me some summer shoes for my lci and retiring the 436m's to winter use only. I've been doing a bit of hunting around and a little torn between two sets:

1st set: Seitronic Typ RP5 8,0x18 ET35 5x120 matt black

2nd set: z performance zp.09

These come in sizes:
19" 8J ET20 5/120 72,6
19" 8J ET40 5/120 72,6
19" 9J ET20 5/120 76,6
19" 9J ET45 5/120 76,6
19" 8,5J ET20 5/120 72,6
19" 8,5J ET35 5/120 72,6
19" 9,5J ET20 5/120 72,6
19" 9,5J ET35 5/120 72,6

Not sure what sizes would fit best

Now if I'm honest I'm probably leaning towards the first option in the interest of staying with 18" wheels and getting a new set of Michelin super sports

Can anyone give any advice on if these would fit? Or would I need anything additional?

Thanks!!

8" wide and Et40 approx is a very nice fit imo.

If you like them really stanced, drop to an Et35 approx.

Nice choice of wheels. :)

Thanks MP excuse my lack of knowledge I don't really understand "ET" how does it work? Are we saying the lower the et the closure to the arch they are?

Yup, the smaller the number, the more they poke out the sides.

It's a little complicated, as it's not a 'fit' as such, but a measurement from wheel centreline.

Got ya!! So I'd imagine they would look quite stanced on the rear? But they would fit?

8" Et40 is fairly flush at the back, plenty for my personal taste. Some people like to go 5 or 6mm less offset for a bit more stance. Around ET32 you'll start getting arch contact, depending on tyre type.

Not seen an M135i with these shaped alloys before, it's what I'm going for, but a different make and in 18''

I like the zp09's from z performance but the seitronic rp5 imo are more aggressive looking and better suited for the aggressive looks of the m135i. What wheels are you looking at AW Dan?

Cades shift. Come in the sizes/offsets I'm after and aren't wallet breakers.

These are the same as the seitronic you've posted, 18x8 ET35. They do an 18x9 ET40 but I don't want to stretch tyres or be worrying about it rubbing

So are you thinking 18x8 all round to avoid any stretch?

I am, practicality wise mainly. Should still look pretty good with the 35 offset

Yeh I think so, I'm pretty keen on the seitronic wheels. Just need to look at new set of springs, m4 lca's and then I think I'm about set for the summer!

Summer can't come soon enough, still need order some wheels but I've got a JB4 and sports cat to go on. Already on H&R so that should be everything, for now...

Nice! I'm thinking eibachs on my adaptive suspension with the lca's and new wheels. Looked at the jb4 too but don't really know if I'll find the time to really take full advantage!
