Hi all,

Thinking of getting my alloys refurbed as they need it.

Been quoted £240 or £300 if I want the colour changed too.
This is also a same day service so will be completed in one day.

Does that sound like a reasonable price?

I didn't understand that either. I would only go with anthracite I think.

I've just had mine done by Rimtec as above, winter wheels in trade black as they call it.

£140 all in and a reasonable job. The only thing I've noticed is they paint the whole of the wheel including the face that attached to the hub - which I've been told is not a good thing?

Anyway - I'd suggest that a same day turnaround won't be the best quality job. To strip back 4 wheels, paint them, lacquer them and balance them will surely take longer than 9 hours with drying times included.

But I'm not an expert

I had mine done last year. £270 and that was in anthracite.
Had the car 3 days. Chemical strip, repair scuffs, powder coat, paint, laquer, balance and refit.
to do all that in 1 day doesn't sound like it would be a good job IMO.

My Tigerclaws were £300.

Acid Dipped, Kerbing sorted out (some needed filling with weld, then filed back) then powdercoated in glitter silver and baked. Took a week.

I need to find a good company in the London Area to do my Ispiri's. I need them Diamond Cut, any recommendations?
