As you may know I've got an LCI 120d Msport on order but am at a dilemma as to which wheels to put on.

I'm fortunate enough to have a set of M135 alloys in my garage which are like brand new but I also like the alloys on the new car.

Just wondering what the consensus is. I'm aware that most on here have mlites but please give your honest opinions.

If I decide to stick with the originals, the others will be on here for sale

Haven't ordered them in ferric. Haven't seen any in the flesh so it's a bit difficult TBH

Bottom ones. They look far nicer, and look bigger too. And probably don't come with a stupid built in gutter either?!

Bottom ones [461m] all day long - nicer to look at and no naff gutter behind the spokes as per std M135i alloys [436m].

Live with the 461m as-is and if later on you want a darker set - put on your 436m's whilst your 46im's are being refurb'd in either:-

Ferric grey - light shade
Gunmetal - darker than FG
Orbit grey - darkest almost like anthacite

I've got an LCI M Sport on the 461s (bottom set of wheels), and they look great in the flesh. For me the M135 wheels are too fussy-looking - the standard M Sport wheels look cleaner to my eyes. I wouldn't swap them for the M135 wheels.

As marco say,

I have oem the top ones on my M135i and i have them as a winter setup. If i new what i know now i def take the bottom ones. The gutter makes the oem M135i hell to clean but i will use them untill the tires are worn because these are golden ones... Pirelli Soto Zero RFT's in 18" 225 front and 245 rear. The rear one was a tyre from >500 € a piece.

'Fraid not - or at least not until March; it's on winters at the moment!

I had the same dilemma over wheels on my lci msport!! Always liked the mlite rims and colour but once I actually saw the ferric grey in the flesh it sealed the deal! The overall look of the wheel suits the car & is much easier to clean :)

Right

Er in doors has spoken and I've just ordered the alloys in Ferric. She also prefers them to the Mlite ones so looks like these will be going up for sale very soon.

If you're interested, let me know.
