Had a search but can't find the answer.

E87 118d M Sport with just over 76,000 on the clock. Showing Vehicle check and oil service is due. Phone dealer and they advised the following is due

Engine oil service with microfilter, air filter and fuel filter.
Vehicle check.

Is there any way of confirming Which Oil Service out of the three is applicable.

1.Engine oil service.
2.Engine oil service with microfilter.
3.Engine oil service with microfilter, air filter and fuel filter.

you can just pop into BMW and they can read the key for free which will tell which service is due..i take it the service book is missing ??

its usually oil , oil filter and micro filter twice followed by the larger service including air and fuel filter.
they will let you just change the oil and oil filter but its not classed a service in their eyes

Which service did it have last? When was the fuel filter last changed??

Going to check my servicebook tonight. It's been my car since day one so I have everything just not on me.

Prefer the simple oil, inspec 1, oil, insspec2, ..... on my Z4M though.

Thanks for the head ups though guys.

Sadly the car will never say it needs a Fuel filter, it gets done every 2nd or 3rd service usually.

It's a company car so luckily no bill for me. Don't think I can justify the extra £100 for BMW to service though. 25% more than a trusted local indi.

Yeah my dealer likes to quote full standard prices so I then have to remind them car is over 4 years old and qualifies for BMW Value pricing. They always try it on.
