Don't forget the metal trim from the upper face of the boot trim that's missing as well.

Don't know if anyone else has but I am in the process of emailing BMW GB Customer Service (Complaints) regards the deletion of standard specification parts from the 128Ti without being informed (as we were not) and it only coming to light via this forum in this case, obviously some parts can't be retro fitted but I am going to push them for the rear inner light clusters and the rear doors Boston trim\ambient lights.

Might not get anywhere but worth a email!

If mine was not a lease, and likely one that is to go back next year, would 100% be doing the same, its not acceptable really and minimum is some sort of refund.

Had a acknowledgement email and case number from them, just a case of waiting see what they comeback with, I'm more peeved about the inner rear light led indicators missing after following a 118i which had them and it looked good set it off, was hoping someone who has these indicators that work could have a look at the connector and see how many wires they have going into the connector (it's a 5 min job just need to slide the cover off no tools needed) I bought some inner clusters complete with the indicator led strip thinking I could do a straight swap, but no, side light and reversing lights worked ok but still no indicator, mine has 4 wires going to it and I wanted to know was there a 5th wire which would mean they have changed that part of the wiring loom as well, but if it still has just 4 wires have they coded it out?

Just spotted watching a review of the 128ti that there should be 2 boot lights (one each side) mine only has the one on the right.

Got mine on Friday, and it also has the inner indicator on the boot lid missing, which I expected from seeing others comments, but still a bit annoying. Only one boot light on right hand side too.

Picked up mine today(what a car btw)and the usual missing ie rear Boston led/indicators/rear footwell lights/cubby and only one boot light but I wasn’t expecting lane assist and sign recognition etc..I’m sure this was removed with a header warning when I ordered?also really impressed with the hk after some equaliser fettling.
