Hi Everyone,

Was just wondering if anyone would be able to let me know how much washer fluid my e82 would need to refill the bottle, its flashed up saying it needs to be refilled and I have used a whole 5ltr tub of the ready mixed solution  but still saying it need more!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Yeah I'm hoping it goes out as at the moment it just has the warning triangle by the mileage, the same as when diesel get low etc and its starting to really annoy me when I look down!

Just thought I would post an update about this, After I filled her up again with fluid it was still saying low, so I decided I would leave it for a while and get the under shield off when I was doing the recommend 8k oil change and take a closer look, well long story short the issue was caused but a small O clip between the hose and my headlight washer, this had failed basically and every time I used my washers it would proceed to p*** all the fluid out

So just a note for anyone experiencing this problem don't be an idiot like me, check for an residual fluid around all the sprays and rule out the silly things first instead!

It's just this sort of thing that reminds me how much I like the simplicity of my 20 year old Toyota 4x4...when you need to add washer fluid you know - the washers don't work any more!

Exactly lads :lol2: :lol2: felt like a right two bob, especially when I was there under the car drenched in washer fluid from the loose hose :lol2:
