From what I gather, each BMW dealer will get two M2s per year, does anyone know if there are any dealers that have not filled up their allocation or are not grossly oversubscribed?....... I'm led to believe that my local dealer has already taken over 11 deposits so there seems little point in ordering there.

No, no quite. Each dealer appears to be getting 1,2 or 3 cars in 2016. No allocations have been agreed for 2017 or beyond.

You should call the more obscure dealerships like Knights in Stafford, Coopers in Yorkshire (York, Malton). The ones outside of your big cities are the ones to go for IMO.

Let us if you get any luck finding alloacations. When I got mine the deal said they had been getting calls from as far as Scotland looking for allocation and I'm in London!

Expected delivery date is 30/1/17.

Chosen spec. Lbb with dct are the main ones. Harmon Kardon, visibility and sun protection, folding mirrors and heated seats are the others I believe.

Cannot wait! Have told them I want to see the car in the flesh and drive one before I finalise though, but I'm confident it won't disappoint.

How much deposit did you have to put down for the order?.. I put 2k. I have pretty much as me spec but opted for manual, coming in November hopefully
