Hi folks,

I'm about to go through the VT process and I have a couple of scuffs and minor paintwork that I'm a bit wary of them charging me for under the "fair wear and tear" policy. Im thinking of getting the worl done at a body shop but im guessing the work will cost me a couple hundred (conservative but again the work needed isnt extensive) but does anyone have any examples of how much they've been charged for minor work by BMW under the VT process?

Finance subjects are about the most popular on here.

How minor is the scuffs and paintwork needed? Can they polish out as some can?

I wouldn't want to hand it back to BMW and be subject to premium prices, but a good bodyshop is never cheap either.

BMW adhere to the BVRLA Fair Wear and Tear guidance.

If any of the damage you're thinking of having repaired is within the guidelines, then you might not have to do it at all?
