Hi guys,

So as some of you know, I've an M135i on order (delivery in March) nothing new there...

However, before the spec door is well and truly sealed, I've been thinking about changing from Estoril Blue to Valencia Orange.

I feel the EB is all too common amongst all sale rep 3 series etc. (although it looks gorgeous once clean) and the common aspect of EB is a bit of a turn off for me, VO is more exclusive, rare and looks awesome in the right light, Summer etc.

However my question is, does VO get too much attention? I don't mind turning heads, but I'm not one for people singling you out and getting up your arse the daily commute.

So, to all you VO guys, before I spec amend, what's the VO attention like?

EB does look great when clean it sparkles in the sun. I went for VO as love to stand out originally I choose AW but thought white was just too common across all manufacturers so changed spec one day before it was locked down. You can only change spec whilst at 1100 stage as locked down when moves to 1200

I have Valencia Orange and it has attracted lots of comments....all good. Most of them have come from strangers such as the immigration officers at the Channel Tunnel.

I've found that coming from a white one series cabriolet 118d (debadged) to the M135i mineral grey also debadged, the M135i definitely seems to attract 1 or 2 idiots who sit up your backside compared to the cabriolet.

Just don't get coral red leather with it!
Feck. Why not? I love the red leather interior. I've also a 2 year old so cream leather is a no no...

Black looks too bland?

Red leather and VO is just wrong.... Just to throw a spanner in the works MG looks fantastic with red leather as does Sapphire Black and red leather and that really sparkles!

A black guy in a VO car. Chocolate sunset springs to mind. Haha!

Ok so found some shots of VO w/ white leather. Really not for me. Makes the car look dated and very 'old school 5 series'

Red leather with VO is certainly an acquired taste and black leather just lacks personality and as a result, the cabin looks dull.

There's no solid go to leather choice with VO in my eyes.
