I have 17 inch 205/50 on front and I think 225/45 rear on my 2011 118d m sport would fitting 18 inch 225/40 all round on new wheels have any adverse effect on car?. Sorry for the newb like question but never fitted different wheels to any of my cars before.

Can you find the spec of the wheels for us, just so we can double check the width and offset?

All 4 wheels are 18/7 and fitted with 225/40/18 tyres

I'm running 9" rims all round with 225 40 18 and it seems to handle really well!

I'm hoping the guy selling them knows less than me, he's quoted me those figures for bmw 461m wheels. I might have to go see them for myself to confirm sizes.
