Sadly the car was a little grubby when I turned up so the wheels didn't look their best. None the less they still look good and some fella on his motorcycle stuck is thumb up in approval at the car on the A2 on the way homeTwenny said:Haha thanks Ian was a pleasure to meet you and those awesome wheels -![]()
Actually was extremely successful for a change and managed to register the car battery, reset all fault codes and then code pretty much everything apart from 'engine start without the clutch' but enjoyed it and glad we got it all sorted.
Look forward to seeing you Ian at the next Bluewater meet.

I was glad to pay for it just to code out the Start/Stop system. Now I want to code for DTC automatically activated at start, but I can't see an option for that yet?0l0dom0l0 said:Also, I love how the carly app gives the you the option to change the battery type too. That's such a useful tool.
Yeah I don't think you can. I'd like it to 'remember' the last setting I had for the traction control but I don't think that's an option. One of the only things I've found it wont do though.FirBim said:I was glad to pay for it just to code out the Start/Stop system. As I said, can always do it next time I am up, or you are down here!0l0dom0l0 said:Just did the same today with another forum member, Tommo! Registered the new battery and made a couple of additions to where Twenny and I left off at the bluewater meet a while ago.
Twenny is one helpful chap!!
I forgot to check and clear fault codes though bugger!
Yes, that's what I want. On wet cold roads the standard traction control system is too conservative, it cuts power unexpectedly and spoils the flow of confident driving. For me, dabbing the DTC to the intermediate setting is the ideal, but I have to remember to do it every damned time.0l0dom0l0 said:Yeah I don't think you can. We had the same problem with mine didn't we?Twenny said:It is G and it was active as we checked twice but it didn't work. Comfort eject worked when you hold stop button and fob pops out so dunno why this feature didn't work when everything else did.
