If you swap one wheel over on the same axle do you have to somehow tell the TPMS system that you've done this. The reason I ask is that I had my wheels refitted after they were refurbished and on driving home whilst performing the TPMS reset I got a tyre warning message indicating the offside front was under inflated but when I got home and checked it was in fact the nearside front that was the issue.

Yes, you should perform a reset in the idrive.
