Morning folks. Don't post much but been on here for a while. My pre LCI car turns 3 in March and I'm currently working out what to replace it with. Went for manual first time round and if I'm being honest, I've not found it the best, it's a bit notchy from 2nd to 3rd and 4th to 5th and the clutch is quite heavy when stuck in traffic (which is the norm when trying to get out of Manchester!!).
I'm torn between an Audi RS3 in basic spec (was in Audi before the BM and BM before the Audi) or an optioned up LCI 135 with sports auto. If I go for the 135 I want to sort out what I didn't like about my current one, namely the wheels and ride height (the leather is a bit naff but I can't do much about that, contrast stitching would have been nice!).
I'm looking at putting either Style 361 or 405 wheels on with 19" PSS tires. I see the LCI comes with the pressure monitoring system as standard. How have all you folks that have gone for different wheels accommodated this? Did you take the sensors out of the original wheels and put them into the new ones, get e new set of sensors or run the new wheels without? I was thinking of keeping the original wheels and putting winters on them and would have liked to have the new wheels on from delivery.
All advice welcome even on the RS3. Heart wants the RS I think but Audi are not going to get anywhere near the deals being done by BM at the moment.
