Just a quick question and just gathering information about timing chain, I know that's its pretty common in BMW world to have this replace but at what it should be changed? Currently my 116i (N13 Enginine I believe) is at 57.7k mileage and apparently timing chain noise is creeping in already.
Also how much is it to replace this? BMW specialist quoted around £1k-ish to replace it.
