I might sound daft here but what's the deal with individual colours? Is there a list to choose from or will they literally spray it whatever colour you want?

I've heard it's roughly £3,000 for one of BMW's special individual colours if its not usually offered on the model you want. You have to ask the dealer who has to get permission from BMW UK who has to directly get permission from the factory, so can be a bit of a lengthy approval process.

I suspect if you wanted it literally any colour they would charge significantly more.

I think the list is rather expansive. You pay to have the colour you want. So many M3/M4's on bimmerpost with individual colours and most look amazing!

Some colours are limited too so even if you wanted a certain colour, they could say no to you!

That looks awesome, I've seen a San Marino blue M4 and it looked fab. too! Those BMW exclusive colours are great. Cotswold BMW often seem to have them in, theirs was the San Marino blue and a couple of months ago they had a Frozen Silver F80M3 which was mesmerizing!

Where are they advertised? There's only about 4 on UK BMW website.

When I collected my car, there was a 'frozen pink' M4 awaiting collection. Costing the customer £7000!!!!!!

You have to write a formal request with the dealer to BMW I believe. Tony could probably clarify the whole process.

Thats ghastly!! It was more subdued than that, it was a silver/pink colour!
