Greetings from Sydney All,
First time post, I recently purchased a 2013 E88 123d, with ~70k km on the clock. I'm finding the (presumably) standard suspension crashy and unforgiving, bottoming out at the rear on large bumps and generally not coping well with rough surfaces. It's a daily driver and I'm looking for good all round performance that retains the excellent handling but also provides comfort and control. Can anyone recommend a suspension specialist in Sydney who can help with a suspension upgrade that will cater for this? Thanks in advance.

Welcome!

A bit too far away to recommend where to get anything fitted, but this thread is as close to the gospel on E8x suspension as we've got. Plenty to keep you going in there :)

Short answers:
  1. Go for the recommended Koni adjustable dampers, replacement M-Sport springs, shorter BMWP/Koni bump stops, and think about the other stuff like Whiteline/Nolathane subframe inserts, M3 LCAs etc., or;
  2. Fit the Bilstein B12 Pro kit and call it a day.

Thanks for the reply and the link, plenty of content there! Cheers, John
