I'm in the Northwest . Who can recommend a company I can visit and discuss a spring , damper and anti roll bar package with then trust them to fit it. Thanks
The more I read the more confusing decisions become.

I've been in the same situation when I decided to upgrade the suspension of my 125d.

My initial plan was to come all the way to the U.K. from Belgium for a full Birds installation.

Now I'm happy that I opted for the one-step-at-a-time approach, because since I've had the Bilstein B16 installed - and fiddled around with ride height and firmness - I don't feel the need for anything else anymore.

The car has come alive: every individual wheel provides feedback and the steering wheel finally communicates with me.

Maybe I'll add adjustable camber plates after some track days with this setup, to improve turn-in, but so far I strongly doubt it.

Only downside is the hard ride. Partially caused by the run-flats which I still need to ditch.

Well good luck with whatever decision you take on kit. It's a minefield but there will be a solution for you. Can't help with the northwest either. However, if doing a rear arb you should really consider doing the diff (or do you have one?) and sub frame inserts. Rear arbs are a subframe out job, so you'll pay that labour twice if you do the diff separately. Springs and shocks are easy and cheap to swap over in comparison. Inserts can be done easily too, but if the subframe is out makes sense to do those at that time as it will be easier.

Have a word with Andy from AC Speedtech in Warrington he knows his stuff and should be able to advise, I think he is a KW agent as well now so that's would be a good option for you maybe :D

MY advice is good dampers and suitable bumpstops are main things, springs wise I think msport isn't bad for road use all depends what you want, going for good quality coilovers is always an option as well but do you need the adjustable height and damping, probably not from what you have said. As for ARB's I would leave them alone.

Im liking your option Tyrant just shocks then. Ride height is fine so thats not an issue. I dont like the sound of subframe out either to do ARBs. But I do have an M3 diff so thought it was best to do them. And bushes I could fit the split ones so that should be ok to do. Maybe I should put that to Andy and see what he suggests.
