Hi all,

I just bought an E87 and having a strange issue,

Initially the rear brake lights and fog lights where not working with a lot of bulb out warning on the dashboard (cluster).
I read the codes and there was a short circuit error on the FRM which couldn't be cleared.

Then I reset the counter on Toolset32 and now the code can be cleared and the brake lights work when the key is in but when engine is running the brake lights don't work again, the fogs still throw up errors and stupidly I don't even know which part of the lights are the fogs anyway.

Regardless the bulb out warnings are still on the dash.

What you guys think is the issue or how to fix it?

Just in case someone else has this kind of problem, I have now resolved it.
Just coded the FRM back to factory from the VO and the issues have now gone except for rear fog light error, but i can't even figure out where the bulb for them are lol

Bulb for rear fog is above indicator, bulb will just glow brighter when lights are on and fog light is switched on.

finally fixed the issue, someone previously decided it was a good idea to splice the fog light wires into the brake lights to use them as brake lights?!?

absolutely stupid idea i think and caused so many errors, all rewired now, only took a little while for me to fix once figured out.
