Looking to give my wheels a new coat of satin black paint. I’ve come across Hycote and Halfords.

Are these any good or has anyone experienced any other?

The wheels are in good condition, so don’t necessarily need filler primer. But can do with any recommended primer and satin lacquer.

These are a spare set of wheels and I’m not too sure about the colour, hence why I’m not having them refurbished professionally (in case you’re wondering).

I have used Halfords and Hycote spray paints and also E Tech on Ebay.
Halfords and Hycote are both alright they do start to spit a little so make sure to wipe the nozzle now and then.

E tech was quite good too with the built in wide spray nozzle and quite cheap.
Here's how they came out after working on the alloys for 3 or 4 weekends.
