Show me your spacers!

...Please. :)

Okay, so not your actual spacers, but your current stance with spacers fitted.

I'm particularly interested in seeing 208m with 12mm, but anything's welcome!

Cheers.

Its close as its lowered and occasional rub happend but nothing of a worry.

12mm all round, I think 10mm would be best with my tyres, some tyres have slightly better clearance.

That sits about perfect to me. If I can achieve a similar look, i'll be happy.

What tyres and in what sizes are you running please Arnie?

Haven't got a pic of my 208s and spacers

12mm rear, 10mm front H&Rs

Looks about right but not fully happy tbh, still getting very very slight wheel wobble at 70+ from the rear and the front doesn't feel 100% 'natural' in corners (scrub radius?) Ok for winters though - 225/45/17 all round with a slight stretch on the 8.5 rear, no rubbing issues.

Excellent! Thanks John.

Anybody else care to share? This could turn out to be a useful resource if we get enough people posting.
Ive currently got 12mm front and 14mm rear (both smallest i could get on my hub flanges) with the stock wheels and 225/40-18 winter tyres on, will get a pic for you when weather improves, i run same fronts on my other summer wheels but cant on rears as they scrub due to wider tyres and wheels so just have a 5mm slip on with those rears.

Car looks just right as it is at moment but i do get some slight scrubbing on arch liner on really bad roads, but i put this down to eibach front springs as never had an issue on stock msport springs or coilovers at same height from what i remember.

I'm really interested in this too.

My 130 is '08 so is running the wider (255) tyres at the back. I read that SootyVRS had some rubbing when running 12mm all round, and that was with 225 tyres. He was however lowered and I'm on standard M Sport sus.
Excuse the thread resurrection but was there any conclusion to this?

Considering 12mm spacers on the rear for my 8.5J 208m with 255 tyres but only if they don't rub...

I would expect rubbing with a 10 or 12mm hubcentric spacer during compressions, 5mm unviversal should be ok.
I too keep considering 12 mm spacers front and rear but am not certain they won't rub. I've measured my hub flanges and fairly certain 10 mm won't sit flush. Currently running 7.5 and 8.5 front and rear. Tyres are 225 and 245 asym 3. Would anyone be able to put my mind at rest?
Thanks.
245's buys you another 5mm of clearance, (vs 255's) so you might just get away with 12mm spacers. Try before you buy if possible, I wouldn't guarantee 12's will clear.

Thanks for the reply marco. If I were to bottle it would
5mm slip ons be a happy medium and would the standard bolts still be long enough?
Questions questions :lol2:
Cheers for the replies.

Hmmm, I may buy a set of 12mm for the front and see if they fit the back before buying a rear set

No, you'd need longer bolts.

Hi mate any side on pics and are you lowered at all?

Not lowered, standard M Sport height. Have a look for some other angles.
