Considering the option of an M-lite with purposefully mounting narrow 205 tyres to make the fun more accesible.
When I had the 123d I secretly thought it was more fun on winter wheels.

Any owner here share that observation / sentiment?

Cheers

It's more fun if the temperatures are within the tyres' optimal range, but not so good when it's in double plus figures and wet.

I enjoyed last week but now I'm looking at putting the "summers" back on again (after only a week or so on winters).

Yes it slides more on winters, but it makes the lack of LSD more of an issue. If you've an LSD- probably yes. If not- no. I don't have an LSD.

This is why I went for the vreds wintrac-xtreme instead of an AS setup, they are a good compromise.

I wont swap back until march/april..

I've just been for a 50 mile drive with the winters on and a tepid 10C ambient. DTC flashing away on the dash quite a few times but the car was still happy.
The handling's fine and still fun, it's the reduced braking distances that you need to keep in mind.
