Removing Start/Stop Button

Not sure what the fishing line thing they sent you was but my button came with some putty which was equally as useless lol! I ended up using a really small screwdriver to pry it out and pull with putty.

Others advise using plastic trim removal tools - see thread below.

Melt the end of a glue stick, press it on the old button, let it set and then pull it out. The glue stick can then be removed from the old button by dipping it a cup of hot water.
Your way is probably by far the best way to do it to avoid any damage to the surrounding trim! Great shout btw
