I was following a 3 dr hatch at the weekend and noticed their rearview mirror is oval, mines oblong (5dr). I prefer the oval, was it a different option or as simple as 5 dr and 3 dr? as mine has the auto dimming if that makes a difference.

The mirrors changed in 2009 from the smaller ones (teardrop shaped) to the bigger ones (dumbo ears) due to an EU legislation or something to do with the size of wing mirrors

He means the interior rearview mirror.

My interior rearview mirror is also oval and auto dimming.

I've had three 1er's. One Pre facelift and two Lci. The Pre facelift was oval, self dimming. Second was Lci, oval, not self dimming and my current Lci is oval and self dimming.
I bet that confuses things :lol2:

The megane forums are pretty boring compared to here. I don't like being the new kid on the block :lol2:

Yeah it's really good, interior wise it's better as my 1er was poverty spec and it's so much faster, going from 120bhp to 250bhp. It handles really well, the recaros are comfortable and I haven't had any issues with long drives.

Only issue is the fuel :lol2: get about 230 miles to a full tank compared to 270ish in the 116i, but I guess it's not that bad.

I'm thinking of getting a bluefin which will take it up to about 295bhp and I want to get rid of the centre silencer and replace it with a straight pipe to get some pops and bangs hopefully. Exhaust is pretty quiet unless you floor it.

Edit: sorry to the op for going off topic :lol2:
