Hi guys, I managed to unblock my front washers using a compressor but my rear one is still blocked, it spurts a little bit of water out each time I push the stalk.

Other than that it doesn't really work.

Only a couple of months ago the washer pipe was reattached and a new boot lock was fitted by BMW.

Is there a quick fix for this?

Non return valve sticks on the rear washer
I have no idea what that is?

It happened around the same time my front washers got blocked so I thought it maybe a separate reservoir with another bloody filter!

I bought my 1er 5 years ago and none of the washers worked from where it had been sitting on the forecourt. Fronts have not been a prob since BMW sorted it back then, but every 6 months or so the rear blocks up again. BMW have sorted it many times and I've done it once or twice myself. Its basically a rubbish design as far as I am concerned.

You are not alone!

I just try and use my rear washer ever drive when I can and it's been problem free for me since I unblocked it 12 months ago and fitted the revised nozzle.

OP take a look in the how to section you'll find all the info you need there.
