I happen to have a set of winter tyres lying around. But all 4 tyres are 225/45/18. I know the front tyres should go on fine, how about the rears though?
Would a 225/45/18 fit onto our oem m135i rear rim? Or would a tyre place turn me away?

I have a set of 225/40 R18 all round on the OEM 436Ms.

A profile of 45 will probably skew the speedo a little bit but otherwise *should* be okay.

225 is certainly okay to fit onto the 7.5J rear.

The rear is 8" wide.

I have a set of brand new winters 225/40/18's to go on my full set 436's. Will fit no problem.

Whoops, you're right. Getting my fronts and rears mixed up.

Ah cheers lads. Once the standard Mich PSS wear out. Il put the winters on the oem rims, and buy a decent set of aftermarket wheels for a fresh set of PSS tyres.
