Hi there,

I've had a health check on my car (E82, 123D) because sometimes I can feel a bit of a grunt/vibration when entering 4th gear at low revs. BMW came back to me and said that "the rear artic disc" has shown signs of splitting.

Thankfully my car is under warranty until this March, however I'm just curious as to what the rear artic disc is and where can it be located?

Also, has anyone else experience this vibration
