Just ordered a private plate, do I need to inform BMWFS with my car being on a PCP?

It's worth mentioning it to them but chances are they won't be bothered.

When I changed my wife's mini to a private plate they sent a form that I had to complete to change their records, they still own the car so you do need to inform them

I changed my plate over. All they asked me to do was scan a copy of my V5 and email it to them at [email protected] along with my customer reference.

Is there an 'admin fee' for this? I know on my last car through VW finance they wanted £50 for this. I got it for free in the end though

Just got to email a scan of the V5 - as mentioned above no fee.

Well surprised at the speed that the transfer takes place, sent my docs on thursday and it was completed yesterday!
