I’m not aware of any adjustment myself,have a look at the hinges to see if you can notice any witness marks of previous adjustment.
the taillights line up perfectly as do the bumper lines. I do see what you mean though,I dare not look at mine now!
I think it maybe just a matter of welcome to the fitment panel gaps of the 1 series bud.
