I've got PDC front and rear, it works perfectly fine...but...I've noticed the front ones only 'engage' when I've selected reverse and doing manoeuvres etc. Is it possible for the front ones to be 'on' all the time? My mums Mercedes one is always on, so for example if she's nose diving into a car park space, the parking sensors work and warn her how close she is especially on the outer side sensors

Probably code-able. But if you're going head first, just click the button south of the mode switch.

Both my parents bmws have a button next to the gear stick to switch on the sensors, used when driving (front on) to the driveway!
