It was mentioned to me in a previous post that a 135i twin pipe exhaust back box would fit directly to my E82 120i, can anyone else confirm this? Would it require any mods?

I've had a search but can find much about it so any Info would be much appreciated. I want the twin pipe look but don't want the M performance exhaust.

Cheers

It 's not a direct fit, needs to be taken to an exhaust shop to be fitted as far as I know!
Sure someone will confirm soon enough

Yes it should be a straight fit. Seeing you have a coupe as well the 135i exhaust should be a straight fit.

I had a 135i exhaust on my 116i hatch and all it needed was the exhaust hangers to be repositioned because the coupe backbox is a different shape to the hatch but you shouldn't have that issue

Ok thanks guys - would you happen to know the correct part number for that exhaust?
Sorry no. I bought mine second hand off here. Might want to check on here to see if there are any for sale

As you've got a coupe the hangers should already be in the right place.

You'll need a pipe reducer I expect to connect the larger diameter 135i pipework to the smaller diameter 120d exhaust.

Don't know the part number, post in the wanted section. There is someone usually that has one they want to sell. I picked up one in VGC recently off the forum for £80.

Don't pay more than that..... you don't need to!
