Hi All,

Hope you can help

I have a 6 day old M240i and the parking sensors originally worked fine with the expected beeping.

However i only noticed today that the image is still there along with the visual aid of how close things are, just no noise.

My question is, is there an option to turn the sound on or off that i cant find, or have i inadvertantly turned them off whilst coding other things in Bimmercode

There's a volume control for them in iDrive somewhere, have you checked that it's not been muted?

It's under Tones in Vehicle Settings in my iDrive.

I accidentally did this to my F30 while coding... I had set vehicle warning sounds (or something like that) to rolls royce. Put it back to bmw and the PDC beeps came back.

Worth pointing out (though I'm sure you know) it only beeps as you get close, the visual display is there all the time. You need to be closer at the front for the beeping to start, the back sensors kick off at a greater distance.
