After a small incident during the cruise today I am in need of polishing some deep scratches on my front bumper and the number plate area. As I was not the only one involved in this I am sure we will both benefit from the advice.

I am thinking on the lines of t-cut first to even out surface a bit and then polishing it afterwords... It might not come perfect but I do not feel it is bad enough for re-spraying.

What you think?. Any recommended products?

Dont worry mate, yours might t-cut out, the one you saw on mine today wont.
True :D

What happened?
Let's just say that my brakes could have done with a bit more bite today.... We also had the chance to test the BMW claim of deformation without break on an impact below 10mph.

Well I have left the car with a professional to get the best results. He is telling me that the bumper trim scratches will come off quite nicely but the scratches next to the number plate will require re-painting for the best result.
He is quoting me £120 for a full re-spray of the bumper or £10 for a polish so you can guess what I have told him to do. I will consider this a war injury 100% worthy after the amazing drive we had on Saturday.
