Need advice on which speakers to purchase

Hi guys I am new to this forum, just wondering if anyone could offer me some advice on which speakers to purchase for my E81, I have fitted aftermarket Alpine Hu, installed 1x earthquake sw8 under seat, running into JBL 5 channel amp, just need tweeters and mids, any ideas what to purchase.

I've changed my headunit and speakers in my E87. Pioneer Double DIN up front and Gladen 201BMW 3 Ways in the fronts amped off a JL Audio XD400/4.

Thanks for your reply Sonic1506, I heard some good reviews on Gladden, I like the sound of my Earthquake nice subwoofer, just got another enclosure for the drivers side now to add the other Earthquake sub in, just not sure what to get for door speakers, been told Focal,Rainbow, it's a shame that you can only use 4" speakers

If you only need mids & tweeters the Focal IFBMW-S kit might suit you?

Hi if your car is similar to the f20 you can get 5" mid in the doors. As long as you are fairly talented with the tools

Not sure Tinydubs, but heard people say you can only fit 4" 10cm speakers in the doors E81 is 3 door model

I'd do Gladen front 3 ways personally rather than mixing and matching. Focal, Rainbow, MTX, MB Quart all do drop in solutions. The factory fitment is 4", the problem is not the size as such but more the depth behind the door card.
