Sorry for my lack of knowledge I don't know enough about n55

My mate is being an 11 plate and wants the same as my n54 but he can't
So what's next best? Jb4? Cobb? Remap?

Cobb and JB4 are both good options I think. I have the JB4. There has been lots of debate on which is better, I think its just personal preference and cost (as Cobb is more expensive).

So is there different options for n55? Or just 1 kit available?

Manual or DCT...?

If DCT, I'd go with a proper remap....not cheap though.

If 6MT, then Cobb probably is the better option.

Didn't they encrypt the later N55s. I think he can give Cobb his vehicle number to see whether it can be remapped...

I have a n55 135i and have been in talks with jf automotive in Kent about having custom remap done. The figures he telling me are roughly 50 break or so over standard. When car is fbo looking roughly 390 break upwards same torque but will find out in few months the exact figures
